On 22 November all Year 8 students across the state sat for the Essential School Science Assessment (ESSA) test. The test aims to assess the scientific knowledge and skills of Year 8 students across the state. Students from JJ Cahill revised and prepared for this test throughout the
term with their teachers. The Science faculty commend Year 8 students for their good work revising for this test and wish the students all the best for their results.
Additionally, the Science Faculty would like to congratulate all students who, over the past few weeks, sat for their HSC examinations. This year we had students completing Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The faculty would like to acknowledge the hard work put in by both the teachers and students sitting for these subjects. We look forward to hearing of their HSC results!
